Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Faith Christian Lions (Yuba City, CA) and the host Mercy Warriors (Red Bluff, CA), saw Faith Christian's basketball squad knock off Mercy by a score of 46-30.

With the victory, Faith Christian improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lutheran (Elk Grove, CA) to battle the Panthers in a Sacramento Metro challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Lutheran won 36-26 in their recent non-league test against New Life Christian (Marysville, CA)

The Warriors now own a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty Christian for a Tri-Cities test on Tuesday, January 3.
