New Jersey High School Basketball - Palmyra falls to Pemberton
February 15, 2011: Pemberton, NJ 08068 The Pemberton Hornets basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Palmyra Panthers to 33 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rancocas Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 17. Pemberton will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 65-46 non-league win over Paulsboro (Paulsboro, NJ). The Red Devils record now stands at 18-2.
The Panthers (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against Burlington Township (Burlington, NJ). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Burlington Township was defeated by Trenton Catholic Academy (Trenton, NJ), 78-36, in a league contest.
