In Thursday's league game, the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles (Houston, TX) football team smashed the host Milby Buffs (Houston, TX), by a final score of 50-6.

The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Manvel (Manvel, TX). The Mavericks come into the 5A-2 Region III District 11 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Manvel overwhelmed Sterling (Houston, TX), 62-26, in a league game.

The Buffs now hold a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waltrip for a 5A-2 Region III District 11 game on Saturday, November 3. Milby will battle a Rams team coming off a 41-30 league win over Madison (Houston, TX). The Rams record now stands at 2-6.
