Nebraska High School Basketball - Weeping Water overwhelms East Butler
February 13, 2018: Weeping Water, NE 68463 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Weeping Water Indians (Weeping Water, NE) and the visiting East Butler Tigers (Brainard, NE), saw Weeping Water's basketball squad wallop East Butler by a count of 69-48.
With the victory, Weeping Water upgrades its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 14-10. Lourdes Central Catholic won 66-25 in their recent league challenge against Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE)
Next up, the Tigers play the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats (Cedar Bluffs, NE) in a D1 District 3 challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. East Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-15 record after their 50-38 league loss to East Butler (Brainard, NE).
