New York High School Basketball - St. Lawrence Central overwhelmed by Salmon River
January 20, 2011: Brasher Falls, NY 13613 The Salmon River Shamrocks basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host St. Lawrence Central Larries to 20 in the Shamrocks league victory on Thursday.
The Shamrocks now sport a 12-0 record. They play next when they host St. Regis Falls for a Section 10 East contest on Friday, January 28. Salmon River will meet a Saints team coming off a 66-19 league loss to Brushton-Moira (Brushton, NY). The Saints record now stands at 2-9.
The Larries (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Colton-Pierrepont (Colton, NY). The Colts come into the Section 10 East contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Colton-Pierrepont was routed by Madrid-Waddington (Madrid, NY), 39-27, in a league contest.
