August 26, 2005: Cedar Springs, MI 49319 Caledonia Fighting Scots (Caledonia, MI) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team notch a victory over the host Cedar Springs Red Hawks (Cedar Springs, MI), 43-13 in a non-league game.
With the win, Caledonia improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Fighting Scots host Coopersville (Coopersville, MI) to meet the Broncos in a Ottawa-Kent Blue game on Thursday, September 1. The Broncos enter the game with a record of 1-0.
The Red Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The Knights enter the Ottawa-Kent White game with a 0-1 record.
