The Natchitoches Central Chiefs basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Aquinas Falcons to 65 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chiefs now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rayville for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 29. Natchitoches Central will face a Hornets team coming off a 57-45 non-league win over St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 9-3.

With the defeat, Aquinas moves to 12-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to Southwood (Shreveport, LA) to face the Cowboys in a non-league game on Saturday, December 29. The Cowboys enter the game with a record of 13-0. Southwood won 43-35 in their recent non-league game against Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA)
