September 11, 2009: Sandy, UT 84094 In Friday's league game, the Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT) football team knocked off the visiting Jordan Beetdiggers (Sandy, UT), by a final score of 48-20.
The Hawks (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Brighton (Salt Lake City, UT). The Bengals come into the 5A Region 4 game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Brighton was dropped by Lone Peak (Highland, UT), 23-7, in a league game.
The Beetdiggers now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host American Fork for a 5A Region 4 game on Friday, September 18. Jordan will battle a Cavemen team coming off a 41-14 non-league loss to Bingham (South Jordan, UT). The Cavemen record now stands at 3-1.
