Arkansas High School Basketball - De Queen overwhelmed by Nashville
January 10, 2018: Nashville, AR 71852 The Nashville Scrappers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting De Queen Leopards to 21 in the Scrappers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Scrappers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fouke for a 3A Region 7 contest on Friday, January 12. Nashville will battle a Panthers team coming off a 71-56 league loss to Genoa Central (Texarkana, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 1-9.
Next up, the Leopards play the Arkansas Razorbacks (Texarkana, AR) in a 6A West bout, on Friday, January 12. De Queen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Razorbacks go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 67-66 league loss to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, AR).
