Texas High School Football - Colorado drops to Ballinger
October 31, 2008: Colorado City, TX 79512 In Friday's league game, the Ballinger Bearcats (Ballinger, TX) football team knocked off the host Colorado Wolves (Colorado City, TX), by a score of 49-26.
The Bearcats (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Ned (Tuscola, TX). The Indians come into the 2A Region I District 7 game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Ned toppled Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX), 31-30, in a league game.
The Wolves now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wall for a 2A Region I District 7 game on Friday, November 7. Colorado will battle a Hawks team coming off a 28-24 league win over Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 3-6.
