Meridian Falcons (Indianapolis, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Bloomington North Cougars (Bloomington, IN), 55-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Falcons host North Central (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 21. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. North Central won 63-36 in their recent non-league bout against Highland (Anderson, IN)

Next up, the Cougars play the Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 24. Bloomington North will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 63-54 league loss to Edgewood (Ellettsville, IN).
