Ohio High School Football - La Salle smashes Covington Catholic
September 3, 2010: Cincinnati, OH 45239 The La Salle Lancers (Cincinnati, OH) football routed the visiting Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY), 50-7 in Friday's non-league game.
The Lancers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH). The Thunderhawks come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Lakota East overwhelmed Glen Este (Cincinnati, OH), 24-21, in a non-league game.
The Colonels now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Campbell County for a non-league game on Saturday, September 11. Covington Catholic will battle a Camels team coming off a 20-7 non-league loss to Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH). The Camels record now stands at 1-1.
