Ohio High School Basketball - Garfield Heights fells Cornerstone Christian
January 29, 2016: Willoughby, OH 44094 Garfield Heights Bulldogs (Garfield Heights, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cornerstone Christian Patriots (Willoughby, OH), 85-70 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Garfield Heights upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Lorain (Lorain, OH) to clash with the Titans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 2. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Lorain won 79-50 in their recent league challenge against Shaw (East Cleveland, OH)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Lincoln West Wolverines (Cleveland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 30. Cornerstone Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 87-48 league loss to East Tech (Cleveland, OH).
