The Bay Rockets basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Avon Eagles to 51 in the Rockets league triumph on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Bay will confront a Lions team coming off a 70-65 league loss to West Geauga (Chesterland, OH). The Lions record now stands at 12-5.

The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, North Olmsted was nipped by Berea (Berea, OH), 75-70, in a league game.
