The Cordova Lancers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Mira Loma Matadors to 26 in the Lancers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lancers now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rio Americano for a Capital contest on Thursday, January 31. Cordova will meet a Raiders team coming off a 64-55 league win over El Camino (Sacramento, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 11-12.

Next up, the Matadors play the Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) in a Capital bout, on Thursday, January 31. Mira Loma will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 5-18 record after their 63-35 league loss to Antelope (Antelope, CA).
