California High School Soccer - St. Paul can't get by Mary Star of the Sea
February 2, 2012: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 In Thursday's league game, the Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA) soccer squad tipped the host St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), by a count of 2-1.
The Stars (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Serra (Gardena, CA). The Cavaliers come into the Camino Real test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Serra was tipped by St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 6-0, in a league test.
With the loss, St. Paul drops to 7-12 on the season. The Swordsmen travel to St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA) to meet the Vikings in a Camino Real test on Tuesday, February 7. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 4-10. St. Bernard lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA)
