In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored a good 76-66 triumph over the Tyler Lions.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Bossier Bearkats (Bossier City, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 9. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Bearkats enter the match with a 8-3 record after their 59-51 non-league win over Henderson (Henderson, TX).
