Virginia High School Football - Edison can't hold off South County
October 13, 2006: Alexandria, VA 22310 South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad get by the host Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA), 23-21 in a non-league challenge.
The Stallions now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Annandale for a Patriot AAA challenge on Saturday, October 21. South County will clash with a Atoms squad coming off a 35-14 league win over West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Atoms record now stands at 4-2.
The Eagles now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Yorktown for a National AAA contest on Friday, October 20. Edison will meet a Patriots team coming off a 52-27 league win over Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-1.
