Maryland High School Softball - Southern loses to Chesapeake
April 11, 2018: Harwood, MD 20776 The Chesapeake Cougars softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Southern Bulldogs to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Chesapeake improves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Cougars host Arundel (Gambrills, MD) to clash with the Wildcats in a Anne Arundel County game on Friday, April 13. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 3-4. Arundel won 22-8 in their recent league game against Old Mill (Millersville, MD)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 12. Southern will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 6-1 record after their 8-2 league loss to Reservoir (Fulton, MD).
