Pennsylvania High School Football - Geibel Catholic ripped by California
October 6, 2006: Coal Center, PA 15423 The Geibel Catholic Gators football squad (Connellsville, PA), was overwhelmed 53-14 in Friday's league test with the host California Trojans (Coal Center, PA)
With the victory, California upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Mapletown (Greensboro, PA) to battle the Maples in a WPIAL A 4 test on Friday, October 13. The Maples come into the test with a record of 4-2. Mapletown lost 21-12 in their recent league test against Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA)
Next, the Gators battle the Monessen Greyhounds (Monessen, PA) in a WPIAL A 4 test, on Saturday, October 14. Geibel Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Greyhounds come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 35-6 league loss to Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA).
