The Cromwell Panthers crushed the host Portland Highlanders baseball team by a count of 13-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Old Saybrook for a non-league bout on Friday, April 29.

Next, the Highlanders face the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) in a Shoreline - Large bout, on Friday, April 29. Portland will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 6-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Morgan (Clinton, CT).
