Texas High School Basketball - New Home overwhelms Wilson
February 3, 2017: Wilson, TX 79381 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) and the host Wilson Mustangs (Wilson, TX), saw New Home's basketball squad wallop Wilson by a tally of 99-30.
With the victory, New Home improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Leopards host Meadow (Meadow, TX) to confront the Broncos in a 1A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 4-4.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Southland Eagles (Southland, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Wilson will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 100-24 league loss to Ropes (Ropesville, TX).
