Mississippi High School Basketball - Amory can't hold off Aberdeen

The Aberdeen Bulldogs basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Amory Panthers to 33 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Okolona for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 7.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Warriors enter the 4A Region 1 contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Pontotoc nudged Ingomar (New Albany, MS), 68-20, in a non-league contest.
