Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE), 61-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sioux City East upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Black Raiders travel to Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA) to play the Lynx in a Missouri River bout on Tuesday, January 5. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 6-0.

Next up, the Rams play the Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 22. Ralston will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 60-52 non-league loss to York (York, NE).
