Texas High School Volleyball - Leander tips Haltom
August 27, 2010: Leander, TX 78641 Leander Lions (Leander, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Lions clash with the Trinity Trojans (Euless, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 28. Leander will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 10-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to All Saints (Fort Worth, TX).
With the loss, Haltom drops to 12-7 on the campaign. The Buffalos host Granbury (Granbury, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league match on Saturday, August 28. The Pirates come into the match with a record of 11-13. Granbury won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against All Saints (Fort Worth, TX)
