The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) basketball crushed the host Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC), 62-31 in Friday's league test.

The Diamond Hornets (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Chapin (Chapin, SC). The Eagles go into the AAA Region IV test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Chapin was trounced by Chester (Chester, SC), 77-57, in a league test.
