October 23, 2015: West Columbia, SC 29170 In Friday's league match, the visiting Midland Valley Mustangs football squad scored a close 33-28 victory over the Airport Eagles.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a AAA Region V match, on Friday, October 30. Midland Valley will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Fighting Green Hornets enter the match with a 6-3 record after their 40-14 league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, SC).
The Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Bearcats enter the AAA Region V match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Brookland-Cayce held off Swansea (Swansea, SC), 35-21, in a league match.
