Minnesota High School Basketball - Anoka nips St. Michael-Albertville
January 3, 2017: Anoka, MN 55303 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) and the visiting St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN), saw Anoka's basketball squad hold off St. Michael-Albertville by a tally of 64-62.
With the victory, Anoka improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Elk River (Elk River, MN) to play the Elks in a Northwest Suburban 1 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Elks come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Elk River won 83-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Minneapolis South (Minneapolis, MN)
Next up, the Knights play the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. St. Michael-Albertville will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 66-53 non-league win over Jefferson (Bloomington, MN).
