January 30, 2018: Shenandoah Junction, WV 25442 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV), by a count of 65-35.
The Saints (16-2) will now prepare for their outing against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Cardinals go into the non-league outing with a 12-9 record. In their last outing, Fairmont smashed St. James (St. James, MN), 65-24, in a league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Musselman for a Eastern Panhandle outing on Thursday, February 1. Jefferson will clash with a Applemen squad coming off a 67-64 non-league loss to Goretti (Hagerstown, MD). The Applemen record now stands at 6-7.
