December 30, 2011: Ballston Spa, NY 12020 In Friday's non-league bout, the Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) basketball squad toppled the visiting Tamarac Bengals (Troy, NY), by a count of 71-58.
With the victory, Ballston Spa upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Scotties travel to Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Mohonasen won 63-49 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY)
Next up, the Bengals play the Granville Golden Horde (Granville, NY) in a Section 2 Wasaren bout, on Friday, January 6. Tamarac will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Golden Horde come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 56-46 non-league win over Hadley Luzerne (Lake Luzerne, NY).
