The Great Bridge Wildcats basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Nansemond River Warriors to 58 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bayside for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20.

The Warriors (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Truckers enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Churchland nudged Norview (Norfolk, VA), 61-55, in a league contest.
