Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Chartiers Valley trounces Peters Township
February 1, 2011: Bridgeville, PA 15017 The Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA), 47-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Colts (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Trinity (Washington, PA). The Hillers go into the WPIAL AAA 5 test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Trinity was trounced by West Allegheny (Imperial, PA), 51-45, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Upper St. Clair for a WPIAL AAAA 4 test on Thursday, February 3. Peters Township will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 50-41 league loss to Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-9.
