The Granbury Pirates topped the visiting Brownwood Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Pirates now have a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chisholm Trail for a non-league test on Saturday, August 18. Granbury will confront a Rangers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Stephenville (Stephenville, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 4-2.
