Gary West Side Cougars (Gary, IN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), 68-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gary West Side upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign.

Next up, the Wolves play the Gary Roosevelt Panthers (Gary, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 28. Michigan City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 55-42 non-league win over 21st Century Charter (Gary, IN).
