The Keller Central Chargers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Abilene Eagles to 51 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haltom for a 6A Region I District 3 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Keller Central will meet a Buffalos team coming off a 63-51 league win over Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Buffalos record now stands at 20-14.

The Eagles (14-14) will now prepare for their contest against Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX). The Falcons enter the 6A Region I District 3 contest with a 18-10 record. In their last contest, Timber Creek nudged Weatherford (Weatherford, TX), 88-61, in a league contest.
