Kentucky High School Basketball - Letcher County Central knocked off by Eastern
December 22, 2017: Louisville, KY 40243 The Eastern Eagles basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars to 62 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newport Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 23. Eastern will battle a Thoroughbreds team coming off a 49-45 non-league win over Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 6-2.
The Cougars / Lady Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Floyd Central (Langley, KY). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
