Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Trinity holds off Mechanicsburg
January 5, 2010: Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Trinity Shamrocks (Camp Hill, PA) and the host Mechanicsburg Wildcats (Mechanicsburg, PA), saw Trinity's basketball squad hold off Mechanicsburg by a count of 54-48.
With the victory, Trinity upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Shamrocks host Middletown (Middletown, PA) to play the Blue Raiders in a Mid-Penn - Keystone challenge on Friday, January 8. The Blue Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Middletown lost 70-61 in their recent league challenge against Hershey (Hershey, PA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Susquehanna Township Indians (Harrisburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Keystone challenge, on Friday, January 8. Mechanicsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 52-32 league loss to Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA).
