Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK), 41-13 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Verdigris improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Inola (Inola, OK) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league test on Friday, September 2. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 0-1. Inola lost 42-12 in their recent non-league test against Sequoyah (Claremore, OK)

With the loss, Jay drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Vinita (Vinita, OK) to confront the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, September 2. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 0-0.
