North Carolina High School Basketball - East Gaston nips Rocky River
December 5, 2014: Mint Hill, NC 28227 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) and the host Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), saw East Gaston's basketball squad hold off Rocky River by a tally of 78-74.
With the victory, East Gaston improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Roberson (Asheville, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 12. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Ravens play the Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 8. Rocky River will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 85-43 non-league win over East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
