October 24, 2008: Fort Valley, GA 31030 In Friday's league game, the Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) football team were victorious over the visiting Worth County Rams (Sylvester, GA), by a score of 30-13.
The Trojans (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Dougherty (Albany, GA). The Trojans come into the 1-AAA game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Dougherty knocked off Crisp County (Cordele, GA), 28-21, in a league game.
The Rams now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Westover for a 1-AAA game on Friday, October 31. Worth County will battle a Patriots team coming off a 14-7 league loss to Monroe (Albany, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-4.
