The Sandy Creek Cougars basketball team (Fairfield, NE), was overwhelmed 63-30 in Saturday's league battle with the host Superior Wildcats (Superior, NE)

The Wildcats now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Cecilia for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 15. Superior will confront a Bluehawks team coming off a 69-47 non-league win over Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE). The Bluehawks record now stands at 13-1.

The Cougars (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record.
