The Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Lewistown Panthers (Lewistown, PA), 60-59 in Wednesday's league test.

The Mountaineers (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Central (Martinsburg, PA). The Dragons go into the Mountain - Nittany test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Central was tipped by Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA), 49-25, in a non-league test.
