Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) and the visiting Del Valle Cardinals (Del Valle, TX), saw Dripping Springs's baseball squad knock off Del Valle by a count of 9-5.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Lockhart Lions (Lockhart, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 battle, on Thursday, March 15. Dripping Springs will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 5-6 record after their 10-0 league loss to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX).
