The Teague Lions basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Westwood Panthers to 11 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkhart for a 3A Region III District 18 contest on Tuesday, December 19.

The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo (Buffalo, TX). The Bison enter the 3A Region III District 18 contest with a 4-4 record.
