August 28, 2009: Lemmon, SD 57638 The Lemmon/McIntosh Cowboys football squad scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Hettinger Black Devils to 8 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Friday.
The Cowboys now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bison for a non-league battle on Friday, September 4. Lemmon/McIntosh will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 36-14 non-league loss to Richardton-Taylor/Hebron (Richardton, ND). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-1.
Coming up next, the Black Devils face the Wilton/Wing Miners (Wilton, ND) in a 9-Man Region 6 (9 Man) battle, on Friday, September 4. Hettinger will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
