Illinois High School Basketball - East Richland tops Salem
February 18, 2014: Olney, IL 62450 East Richland Tigers (Olney, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Salem Wildcats (Salem, IL), 53-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, East Richland upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Mattoon (Mattoon, IL) to play the Green Wave in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 25. The Green Wave come into the bout with a record of 10-10.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Mattoon Green Wave (Mattoon, IL) in a Apollo bout, on Saturday, February 22. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record.
