In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Altoona Lions basketball team scored a decisive 59-33 triumph over the Punxsutawney Chucks.

In their next game, the Lions confront the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) in a Freelance match, on Friday, December 12. Altoona will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record.
