Washington, DC High School Football - Bishop McNamara drops to Gonzaga
October 26, 2013: Washington, DC 20010 In Saturday's league game, the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) football team knocked off the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), by a score of 28-13.
The Eagles (6-3) will now prepare for their game against St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cadets come into the Washington Catholic game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, St. John's toppled Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC), 37-7, in a league game.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop O'Connell for a Washington Catholic game on Saturday, November 2. Bishop McNamara will battle a Knights team coming off a 35-10 league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Knights record now stands at 4-5.
