April 18, 2013: Boca Raton, FL 33434 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Andrew's Scots (Boca Raton, FL) and the visiting Boca Raton Bobcats (Boca Raton, FL), saw St. Andrew's's lacrosse team gain a win over Boca Raton by a margin of 12-9.
Game Summary
Boca came to play and led most of the game, with Nick "Fuzzy" Martin making some amazing saves for Boca, but in the end, the Scots came together and took the District Championship.
Steve Reall had his best game of the season with three goals and two assists, Conor Whipple had 4 goals and 3 assists, and Grant Mahler had 3 goals and an assist. Levine had 1 goal and 2 assists, and Wheeler added one to finish with twelve goals. Ben Kennedy had an assist as well. Nick Schultz played an amazing game for Boca with four goals, Nick McCabe and Collins each added two and Harrsion Rodomer has one.
With 6 minutes left, Boca was up 9-7 and playing with confidence and swagger but the Scots then put it in another gear and scored the last five points of the game, not losing a face off in the last 6 minutes and just out hustling the Bobcats to pull out an amazing win. Two great teams playing a great game of lacrosse.
