The Hamilton Aggies held off the host Central Wildcats football team by a count of 36-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Hamilton upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Aggies travel to Fayette County (Fayette, AL) to confront the Tigers in a 4A Region 6 outing on Friday, September 30. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Fayette County lost 38-14 in their recent non-league outing against Cullman (Cullman, AL)

With the loss, Central moves to 3-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Wilson (Florence, AL) to confront the Warriors in a 4A Region 8 outing on Friday, September 30. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Wilson won 14-13 in their recent non-league outing against Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL)
